When people are just starting to build their personal brand, their initial questions are often:
- What kind of logo should you have?
- Should you do written or video posts?
- What should your Web site look like?
- What is your color scheme?
- Should you be on LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook?
Whoa, back up.
Your personal brand shouldn’t be based on your logo, color scheme, design, or social media network.
At a very fundamental level, to build a sustainable personal brand you need to define who you are as a person, so you can live and speak to that truth.
Then, define a clear vision that combines your purpose with the impact you want to have on the world.
