When people are just starting to build their personal brand, their initial questions are often:

  • What kind of logo should you have?
  • Should you do written or video posts?
  • What should your Web site look like?
  • What is your color scheme?
  • Should you be on LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook?

Whoa, back up.

Your personal brand shouldn’t be based on your logo, color scheme, design, or social media network.

At a very fundamental level, to build a sustainable personal brand you need to define who you are as a person, so you can live and speak to that truth.

Then, define a clear vision that combines your purpose with the impact you want to have on the world.

That’s the topic of today’s episode of the Freedom Club Podcast, which you can download here.
