Victor Antonio grew up poor in a rough part of Chicago, but rose to earn his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.

He went on to build a 20 year career as a top sales executive and become President of Global Sales and Marketing for a $420M company.

Then, in 2001, he gave it all up to seek fulfillment as a sales trainer and motivator.

Since that time, he has shared the stage with top business speakers: Zig Ziglar, Daymond John (Shark Tank), Rudy Giuliani, Paul Otellini (CEO of Intel), and John May (CEO of FedEx Kinkos).

He has the #19 ranked entrepreneurship podcast — Sale Influence – Why People Buy! — on Apple Podcasts, and even had his own show, Life or Debt, on Spike TV.

You may also be one of his 170,000+ subscribers on YouTube.

In today’s episode, Victor and I discuss:

  • Why he left his “safe” corporate job to pursue  a career as a sales influencer, trainer, and speaker.
  • His journey to building his current business.
  • The importance of being uniquely you when building your brand.
  • The intersection of branding and sales.
  • How to overcome your fear of sales.

As Victor told me, even when all the products and services are equal, you have something special to offer because “you are the X factor.”

The difference isn’t the product or the service — it’s you.

Thanks so much to Victor for coming on the show.
